Dr. Ken Westcott has been helping children and adults in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia meet their visual needs for over 20 years. He received his Doctorate in Optometry from the Ohio State University where he focused his clinical training on Child and Vision Development. His practice provides vision therapy to patients who range in complexity from computer Eyestrain and learning-related vision problems to patients with autism, strabismus (eye-turns), and amblyopia (lazy eye), or those who have suffered a concussion, traumatic, or acquired brain injury. Dr. Westcott has continued his post-doctoral studies through the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, the Optometric Extension Program Foundation, and the Baltimore Academy of Behavioral Optometry. He is an active member of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association, American Optometric Association, the Virginia Optometric Association, the Tidewater Optometric Society, and Parents Active in Vision Education.
